Review & Submit

This page gathers everything you confirmed on the previous steps so you can check it before handing the rollover to our team.

What the page shows

  • Calendar. The first- and third-nine-week end dates now in effect.
  • Configuration. Assessment vendor, calculation type, your feeder courses, and whether your district teaches Algebra I in 8th grade.
  • Ranges. Links to your custom benchmark ranges and your midterm ranges, when your district has them, or a note that midterm ranges are not set up yet. Shown only when your district has ranges to review.
  • Email Domains. Your staff and student email domains.
  • Named Contacts. Your point of contact and superintendent.
  • Roster. Links back into the four user-review steps.
  • Nightly Sync. Whether it will resume when the rollover is approved.
  • Sign-in Counts. Once you have submitted, whether every user's sign-in count will start over at zero when the rollover is approved. See Resetting sign-in counts.

Each section has a Change link back to the step it came from. Nothing here is final until you submit, so use them.

Submitting

Only your point of contact or superintendent can submit. They are also the only two people in your district who can open the rollover at all: your other district admins have no access to it, so there is nobody else to hand it to. Our team can see every step while the rollover is with you, and we see a note that it is waiting on a named contact to submit.

Submitting hands the rollover to our team for review, and locks it. See After You Submit for what happens next, and for what a rejection looks like.

Resetting sign-in counts

Your district's Users page shows each user's last sign-in and how many times they have signed in. That count runs from the first time they signed in, or from the last time your district's counts were reset, not from the start of the school year.

Above the submit control is a Reset sign-in counts for the new year checkbox. It starts unchecked each time you open this page. If you tick it, every user's sign-in count in your district starts over at zero when our team approves the rollover. Nothing is reset when you submit, or if we send the rollover back.

  • Last sign-in dates are kept, so a user who last signed in on August 12 shows that date with 0 sign-ins, not "Never Signed In".
  • The previous counts cannot be recovered.
  • If you leave it unchecked and decide later that you want the counts reset, open a Helpdesk Ticket.

Check the calendar before you submit

The most common reason a rollover is sent back is that the calendar was never advanced. If the Calendar section above still shows last year's dates, go back to Advance Calendar and fix it now. Nothing forces you to, and a rollover can be approved with the old year still in place, which leaves your district on the old year.

What the page looks like after you submit

The same page changes to reflect where the rollover is:

State What you see
In progress The submit control, and a Change link on every section
Submitted A notice that it is awaiting review, and no Change links, because it is locked
Sent back for changes A notice saying so, every Change link back, and the submit control again

Not sure something is right?

Anything on this page that looks wrong is easier to fix now than after you submit. Use the Change links, or open a Helpdesk Ticket.
