PDF Score Cards
Overview
PDF Score Cards are printable, parent-ready score reports for individual students. When a parent meeting comes up or a teacher wants a hard copy, you can generate a complete card for a student, a class, or a grade in a click instead of formatting anything by hand.
Where It Lives
- PDF Score Cards are available from a school page (by grade) and a teacher page.
- They are not generated at the district level; pick a school or teacher to scope the cards.
- The output is a PDF you can print or share.
How To Use It
- Open PDF Score Cards from a school or teacher page. The page opens on the most recent year with cards for that school or teacher.
- Choose the year, and for a school, the grade. The menus list only the years and grades that have cards.
- Generate the PDF for the students in scope.
- Print or share the resulting cards.
Who Sees Which Cards
- District-level users see every card in the district.
- School users see the cards filed under their schools.
- Teachers see the cards they are named on, plus the cards of the students in their gifted or inclusion classes that year.
A teacher keeps last year's cards after the roster moves to the new school year.
What Data Feeds It
Score cards are built from processed scores plus the teacher attribution for each student:
- A card is produced for a student once at least one of their subject teachers (English, math, science, or history) is resolved.
- The scores on the card come from the year you select.
- The grade and school on the card are the grade and school the student tested in, not the student's grade and school today.
A student with no subject teacher resolved is left off.
Common Questions
- Why is a student missing from the cards? A card requires at least one of the student's English, math, science, or history teachers to be resolved. A student with none resolved is left off.
- Why does the page say there are no score letters to show? That school or teacher has no cards to show. Cards appear once they are built from imported scores and their teacher attribution is resolved.
- Why is a student's card under their old school or grade? A card is filed under the school and grade the student tested in.
- Why can't I generate cards at the district level? Cards are scoped to a school or teacher. Open one of those to generate them.
